In the brewery Iz is all about flavour and quality control. After the brewery, the lab is her second home. With an M.A.Sc. and a career background in drinking water quality and microbiology, she doesn’t let anything slide that would compromise the integrity of the finished product. Iz also cares about sustainability and still gets involved with water events from time to time.
Iz loves juicy milkshake IPAs and doesn’t care who knows it. She likes to brew and drink sour and funky beers, as well as anything with bold flavours that include fruit, herbs, and spices. She is always looking for the next experimental combination, and exploring different styles of fermentation from around the world.
When she’s not brewing or reading a book in the sun, Iz is probably planning her next trip or getting better at throwing axes. She lives in Toronto with her partner and an excess of houseplants.
